Cable Beach is one of the world's most beautiful, untouched beaches and is Broome's most beloved asset. Named after the telephone cable that was laid in 1889 connecting Broome with Java, it is 13 miles of pristine white sand and sensational blue waters.
Enjoy a comfortable 15-minute camel ride along this strip of sand -- it is the quintessential Broome experience so don't miss it. The ride is suitable for all ages. Each camel carries two riders. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Tour does not operate on holidays.
