This incredible adventure offers a bird's-eye view of the Horizontal Falls, Buccaneer Archipelago and the magnificent Dampier Peninsula coastline. The dramatic colors of the Kimberley -- rich ochres, brilliant turquoise and talcum-powder white -- create stark contrasts as you explore from the air.
A magnificently scenic flight takes you over one of the greatest wonders of the natural world -- the famous Horizontal Falls. The 'falls' are formed when tidewater rushes through an 80-foot-wide chasm in the McLarty Ranges. Seawater builds up on one side of the gap as the tide comes in faster than the water can pass through, creating a waterfall up to 30 feet tall on a spring tide. The direction of the falls reverses with the tide, creating whirlpools that suck in everything around them.
Your day also includes a tour of the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. This is Australia's oldest working pearl farm.
Sit down to a delightful lunch at the Cygnet Bay Restaurant before returning to Broome mid-afternoon.
