Enjoy a traditional Maori welcome before you climb into a waka -- a canoe that seats several people. You will immediately sense the pride and spirituality of your Maori guide. Take up your paddle and glide your way up the peaceful, tranquil estuaries of the Waitangi River aboard this traditional vessel.
Watch for the beautiful Haruru Falls (tide permitting) and visit a 1,000-year-old ancestral site.
