Enjoy a panoramic drive through Albany and along the main street. Watch for Dog Rock and Middleton Beach and stop for photos at the Mt Clarence Lookout. Here, you'll have spectacular views of Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound and the Albany Wind Farm.
Travel along the Princess Royal Harbour shoreline's scenic route to Torndirrup National Park. Here, you can walk to the lookout for glorious views of the dramatic land formations called The Gap and the Natural Bridge. The Gap drops 78 feet to the raging sea while the Natural Bridge spans the torrent. It's a thrilling vantage point.
The eco-friendly Albany Wind Farm, situated atop a cliff overlooking the coast, consists of twelve 1,800-kilowatt wind turbines, each 213 feet tall with 115-foot-long blades. These wind turbines are the largest in the southern hemisphere. Take the pathway along the cliff that leads to a viewpoint over the coastline.
Notes:
Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Do not deviate from marked paths during the walks.
