Your excursion begins with a visit to Shikoku Mura village on the west side of Takamatsu.
Cross a vine suspension bridge on arrival at this open-air museum. Old Japanese buildings from Shikoku Island have been reconstructed and are on display here. You'll also walk through a bamboo grove to revel in the serene atmosphere.
Next, drive to Ritsurin Park -- one of Japan's finest gardens. This world-class cultural heritage property covers 185 acres and includes six ponds, 15 bridges and 13 hills. Enjoy the scenic beauty from multiple viewpoints within the park.
Finally, return to the ship by coach.
