A 90-minute panoramic drive by motorcoach brings you to Kdat fishing village. This is your opportunity to see firsthand the lifestyle of the local villagers.
Continue to Kampot, set among a landscape of palm trees and rice fields and perched on the banks of the river. Recognize the name? The pepper grown in Kampot province is touted by many a chef as being the finest pepper in the world. There's even an appellation for the Piper nigrum (black pepper) grown here. The town's classic fin-de-siècle French-colonial architecture is very picturesque.
Next, you'll head directly to Le Kep City. A panoramic drive orients you to the town; then, you'll visit the local Phsar Kdam crab market. A set-menu lunch is served at The Wave Restaurant. Cambodian food is flavorful, fun and fresh -- enjoy!
Notes:
