Today, visit the Beomeosa Temple located at the eastern foot of Busan's Geumjeongsan Mountain, and was founded by the Great Priest Euisang in 678. Beomeosa Temple is one of Korea's five great Buddhist temples, boasting a wealth of cultural and historical assets, set among the scenic beauty of a wisteria-covered valley and attracting local and foreign visitors.
Finally, you will visit either Beomeosa Temple or Gwangmyeongsa Temple for the tea ceremony. Don't miss participating in the Korean tea ceremony, with tea prepared from tea leaves in a traditional tea set, in keeping with the Seon or meditation practiced in Buddhism. Daseon Limi is often mentioned, implying the same result from tea-drinking and practicing Seon (searching for one's true self). This meditation constitutes the core of Korean Buddhist traditions.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Please dress modestly for temple visits- no short pants or sleeveless shirts.
