Re-board the 4WD jeep drive down to sea sand, and by pony ride cross the sea of sand to foot of Mt. Bromo. Climb the 240 steps to the awesome crater with a diameter of six miles surrounded by a caldera that puffs white sulfur smoke. Mount Bromo stands in a sea of ashen, volcanic sand, surrounded by the towering cliff of the crater’s edge.
