Explore Penang's exotic flavors during this scenic and informative visit and cooking demonstration. You’re headed to the Tropical Spice Garden, where you will enjoy a guided walk through the lush green garden. Listen as your host provides an informative commentary about the various spices grown here, including their functional and medicinal uses. Afterward, observe a cooking demonstration that focuses on the preparation of Indian-style pancakes and chicken masala. You will learn about spice-grinding techniques with a traditional grinding stone and discover the secrets of drawing out flavor and aroma from the spices. Following the demonstration, you will be invited to sample the wonderful hot dishes straight from the pan.
