Intramuros, with its imposing Fort Santiago, sits on the site of Maynilad -- the center of Rajah Sulayman's kingdom and one of the largest settlements and trading centers of the Philippine archipelago.
A guided walk takes you through the Walled City. Learn how the city lay at the heart of Filipino heritage and heroism through almost four centuries of Spanish rule. Intramuros was a major political, economic, cultural and ecclesiastical hub.
At Fort Santiago, enjoy a guided walking tour to see projections depicting the World War II era. Stroll through the Santa Lucia Quarter and learn about the Japanese Occupation, the destruction of Manila in 1945, and the effects of the loss of Intramuros.
And finally, the Plaza San Luis Complex showcases different eras of Filipino-Spanish Architecture.
