The northern side of Miyako Island is on display on this exciting adventure that takes in some of its most celebrated sights.
Begin with a scenic drive to the Miyakojima Marine Park (Underwater Observatory), where you can view a myriad of colorful fish and marine life through a series of giant windows, a true glimpse into the marine life in the waters off Miyako Island.
Continue to Yuki Shio Saltworks, an unusual factory that processes the famous Yuki Shio salt, certified by Guinness World Records as containing the greatest variety of minerals in the world. Fluffy and pure, this multi-award-winning seasoning is used in a variety of products, including ice cream!
Then take in scenic splendor at Ikema Bridge, the 1,425-meter (4,700-foot) bridge connecting Miyako and Ikema Islands and spanning an incredible stretch of jade-green water.
Stroll among the Shimajiri Mangrove forest before returning to the pier.
