During the early stages of the Korean War (1950-1953), South Korean and UN forces landed in Incheon under the command of General MacArthur, reversing the tide of the conflict. The Memorial Hall for the Incheon Landing Operation is a museum commemorating the operation and depicting the events of the day.
Take in views of the Hwanghae Sea and the city of Incheon.
In Songdo Central Park, ride a water taxi for 20 minutes to enjoy the scenery of the park — a green paradise and Korea's first lakeside park that harnesses seawater.
Lastly, head to the G-Tower located at the northwest edge of the park. Songdo G-Tower is located at the heart of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and is home to the UN and other international organizations. This 150m-tall Songdo landmark boasts sensational 360º views from its IFEZ Observatory on the 33rd floor.
