Let this 1.5-hour panoramic drive introduce you to the charming countryside of Vietnam.
Your destination is the very interesting Yen Duc village -- chosen for its quintessential nature and the experience of having visited an authentic village. Yours to keep are some very special memories.
You will notice a special tranquility within the Yen Duc. Visit an ancient house, more than 200 years old, and communicate with the host. Walk through the fields and green gardens to visit Canh Huong Pagoda and take in poetic views that are the stuff of postcards.
Enjoy local snacks such as boiled corn and sweet mung bean soup or green bean sweet soup. Participate in the experience of grinding rice, pounding rice, and learn about rice agriculture. Listen to a concert of traditional folk songs presented by village elders and savor a delicious lunch of simple Vietnamese dishes before transferring back to the ship.
