Combined with some of the best scenery in Bali, this tour offers a look at some fascinating historic sites and the remains of an old Balinese kingdom. Begin with a visit to Klungkung Kertagosa -- a building designed and built in 1710 by some of the finest artisans in the country. The compound contains the beautiful Bale Kambang floating pavilion and the Kertagosa (Royal Court of Justice) with its elaborate ceiling murals, which are still in great condition. Continue to Pura Kehen temple complex, built in the 11th century. A series of steps leads to the entrance door where the demonic face of Kala Makara stands guard over the temple grounds.
Passing through small villages and rural countryside with great views of the local area, continue to Bangli for a buffet lunch overlooking the stunning rice terraces.
Finally, you'll visit Puri Agung A Royal Palace situated in Blahbatuh (Ubud). The palace was originally built around the year 1570-1600 of the CAKRA calendar and was founded by the dynasty of King I Gusti Ngurah Jelantik VIII. There are some beautiful features, including unique temple artwork, a peaceful meditation temple surrounded by waters and some stunning wood furniture.
