Day 1 (L/D) Laem Chabang - Kanchanaburi
Discover the history and natural beauty of Kanchanaburi on an overnight tour from Laem Chabang Port. Thailand's third-largest province, Kanchanaburi borders Myanmar to the west. Arresting natural beauty, rugged mountains and deep river valleys dominate the landscape. The confluence of the Kwai Yai and Kwai Noi Rivers forms the Mae Klong River, characterized by several waterfalls, National Parks, tranquil river and reservoir settings, and caves. This is the site of the world-renowned Bridge on the River Kwai -- a landmark immortalized in books and movies. Visit the iconic bridge and learn about the region's role in World War II.
Pause for lunch at the Float House restaurant and visit the Death Railway to marvel at the stunning scenery as you pass over its original wooden viaduct.
Delve into nature at the Krasae Cave, complete with an enshrined Buddha, and see the World War II memorial at HellFire Pass.
Check in at the hotel in time for dinner.
Hotel: Mida Hotel Kanchanaburi (or similar)
Day 2 (B/L) Kanchanaburi - Laem Chabang
After breakfast, check out and head to the War Museum. Pay your respects at the Allied War Cemeteries and the largest temple stupa in Thailand -- Phra Pathom Chadi.
Lunch is served at the Mida Hotel Nakhorn Phrathom (or similar), and there's a chance to shop for souvenirs en route back to Laem Chabang.
