Journey about 45 minutes from the port to Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort, surrounded by 400 acres of verdant tropical forest. Gorgeous Pantai Dalit Beach, two miles long, is set amid a nature reserve, ensuring a feeling of seclusion. The resort is home to an eco-friendly championship golf course and the magnificent Spa at Dalit Bay.
Enjoy a welcome drink and explore the resort facilities, the swimming pool or the beach area.
A meal of Western, Malay and Asian favorites is served at the resort’s award-winning Tepi Laut Restaurant.
Unique to the resort is the Nature Interpretation Center. Feel free to explore Borneo’s wildlife through jungle walks and a nocturnal wildlife watch (at your own expense).
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. A jungle walk and other activities are optional and can be purchased from the resort’s Recreation & Nature Interpretation Center at your own expense.
