Soak up the colorful sights and sounds of Kota Kinabalu with a half-day journey that begins with a drive past the 30-story Tun Mustapha Tower and the "floating" Kota Kinabalu City Mosque.
Travel out of the city, through the lush countryside and finally pull up to a private jetty located at Kampung Serusup Village, Tuaran - Tembara Jetty. Here, you’ll step aboard an authentic traditional catamaran boat - Venture along the pristine mangrove forest with our traditional catamaran to explore Bornean's rich biodiversity for a cruise. Have your camera handy— in addition to herons, egrets and the brightly colored kingfishers.
Prepare for more fun as you disembark and learn more about Borneo culture with hands-on demonstrations. Try your hand at batik painting or baking. You will be served light refreshment of Local Bajau Kueh and Coffee/Tea. Later, enjoy free time to discover the skills needed to line fish or play the local games such as coconut Bowling. Don't forget to have a photo taking session at the Bajau Photo Booth section for remembrance.
Then, rejoin your coach for the scenic ride head back to your ship.
