Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, is a beautiful city located by the sea. Capture an overview of the metropolitan area as you drive through town, passing major landmarks. Enjou a short photo stop at the State & City Mosque and Tun Mustapha Tower -- the city's tallest building.
Borneo has 32 ethnic groups, and the Heritage Village provides an excellent summary of the people of North Borneo, from the architectural styles of their homes to their musical instruments and hunting equipment.
Complete your excursion with a visit to the handicraft market and mingle with the local people. The handicraft market is an excellent place to pick up some bargain souvenirs before returning to port.
Notes:
Cameras are not permitted inside the Heritage Village’s main building. Modest attire is required; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered.
