Holland America’s Glacier Guarantee

Terms: Holland America Line's ("HAL") Glacier Guarantee (the "Guarantee") is only available to guests who are at least 21 years of age or older at time of participation in the Guarantee, and who complete a HAL Alaska Cruise or HAL Alaska Cruisetour voyage between May and September of 2024 and May and September of 2025 (each a "Cruise"). If a port of call or cruisetour featuring a Glacier (as defined below), as set forth in the applicable published Cruise itinerary, is cancelled by HAL, HAL will provide the guest a Promotional Future Cruise Credit ("FCC") equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the guest's Cruise fare. A "Glacier" is any Alaska glacier featured at a port of call or on a cruisetour per its published itinerary. This Guarantee shall not apply when there is more than one port of call or cruisetour featuring a Glacier on a Cruise per its published itinerary, when only one applicable port of call or cruisetour has been cancelled. This Guarantee is not applicable on the following Yukon cruisetours, which do not include a glacier experience: Y3C, Y4C, Y5C, and Y6C.

Guests must submit a Guarantee request claim form and complete all the required information within 30 days of the completion of the Cruise by visiting the Guarantee landing page, which is accessible via HAL must be able to verify the guest's eligibility at the time of the claim. FCC will be issued within 30 days after HAL verifies the claim.

Limit: one (1) FCC through the Guarantee per guest per 2024 and 2025 sailing season. FCC may be applied to a single HAL cruise booking. Such booking must occur within twelve (12) months of the FCC issuance date and the FCC must be redeemed within twenty-four (24) months of the FCC issuance date. FCC must be used and applied before boarding a cruise; the FCCs are not onboard currency or usable/redeemable on board a cruise. FCC cannot be used on individual items that are not included in an available package including, without limitation, taxes, fees, port expenses, alcoholic beverages, baggage fees, and travel expenses (including but not limited to all shore-side hotel accommodations, airline fees, or ground transportation to and from the ship), onboard expenditures, onboard gratuities, onboard discretionary hotel/dining charges, onboard meals in alternate dining venues, excursion fees, boutique purchases, and any other expenses not specified as being eligible for FCC spending. FCC will be awarded in the same currency as the currency onboard such cruise. FCC is non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. 

The terms that are in effect at the time of guest's Cruise booking will determine guest's eligibility under the Guarantee. No change in the Guarantee will affect any FCC that has already been issued to a guest. The Guarantee does not apply in case of Cruise cancellation.

All decisions and factors regarding this Guarantee and any claim will be determined by HAL in its sole discretion. HAL reserves discretion for applying this Guarantee and awarding a make good, if any, to a guest. HAL is not responsible for any errors in connection with this Guarantee, including any typos or printing or technology errors. HAL may modify, end, or withdraw this Guarantee or any of its terms for any reason with or without prior notice. The failure by HAL to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Other restrictions and exclusions may apply. Ships' Registry: The Netherlands.
