Vancouver, in the Canadian province of British Columbia, is a shining light in the American Northwest and is consistently ranked one of the most livable cities in the world. Come see why this location was chosen as the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
A panoramic drive heads into the heart of downtown Vancouver -- a bustling urban environment surrounded by water and mountains. The city features one of the most diverse populations in North America -- more than 50% of the population’s first language is not English.
Discover the second-largest Chinatown in North America, passing through the renovated and popular Gastown district and into Stanley Park. This is where the locals come to relax and play. Stanley Park is larger than New York’s Central Park and is home to old-growth trees and a spectacular display of First Nation totems. It boasts a 5.5-mile seawall to protect it from winter storms. You’ll have an opportunity to explore some of Stanley Park and take photos of the mountains that form a spectacular backdrop for the city.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise ends in Vancouver.
