Hop aboard a 12-passenger Zodiac craft for an exhilarating on-the-water adventure through the National Historic Site of Metlakatla Pass. On a route tailored to the day’s conditions, you’ll marvel at the breathtaking mountainous terrain, lush rainforest, and pristine coastal scenery. Stay alert for the chance to spot incredible wildlife, such as orcas, humpbacks, sea otters, or bald eagles, as nature allows. With each twist and turn, your expert guide will share captivating insights into the local ecosystems, the history of the area, and the profound Indigenous culture of Prince Rupert.
Notes:
Minimum weight is 100 lbs. Minimum height is 4’0”. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. There is no restroom on the vessel. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Bring a waterproof casing for your device(s). Terrain includes a marine ramp from the pier to the boat, which can be very steep at low tide. Donning/removing the survival suit requires physical mobility and flexibility. Binoculars, gloves, sunglasses, and hand warmers are provided. The vessel’s bench seating is not shock absorbent; the vessel travels at high speed. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
