You'll be met in the lobby of your hotel by a costumed guide and be escorted three short blocks through historic downtown Skagway to a Gold Rush-era theater. The evening begins at 7:00pm with mock gambling using mock money in the Mosquito Casino, where actors from the show are dealing blackjack, 4-5-6, and roulette. The biggest winner of the night gets a special prize during the show! Those who prefer not to participate in the mock gambling are invited to take their seats in the auditorium for a ragtime piano pre-show performance. Concessions are available for purchase in the lobby and are allowed in the theater. At 7:30pm, you'll make your way up 5 steps or through an ADA-accessible entrance into the auditorium to take your seats for the Days of ’98 Show with Soapy Smith. The show, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023, will delight with Can-Can dancers, ragtime music and the story of Alaska’s most notorious outlaw, Soapy Smith! Guests who would like to participate as part of the show may even get a chance to join the actors on stage! When the show ends, you will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the performers as you exit the theater and make your way back to the hotel.
