Pike Place Market is an iconic landmark of Seattle -- the jewel that sits right above the beautiful waterfront of the Emerald City. Filled with delicious cuisine, handmade crafts and unique artwork, it is a place with something for everyone to enjoy. This visit gives you a behind-the-scenes look at this bustling gathering spot and is led by members of the Pike Place Market community.
The lively, jovial market provides a great place to immerse yourself in the culture and cuisine of the city. You will see 'flying' fish, delicious cheese being made, and visit the first Starbucks store. It is a place filled with interesting stories that will make themselves known as you wind through the stalls to taste delectable bites of coastal fare from six market vendors. Catch views of Seattle's spectacular waterfront through the open windows and doors, adding to its unique ambience before returning to the ship. Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
