No experience is necessary for this non-strenuous, one-hour interpretive glacier walk.
Take off from Juneau by helicopter and soar over the Juneau Ice Field to the glacier.
Upon landing at the trekking site on the Mendenhall Glacier, your guide will provide detailed explanations of the glacier environment and the surrounding area, and teaches proper use of the equipment provided. There is plenty of time for photo opportunities.
