Visit the beautiful beaches of Búzios by schooner -- a great way to get acquainted with the lovely surroundings. There will be two stops -- the first at Ilha Feia Beach and the other at Tartaruga Beach. You'll have approximately 20 minutes to swim and relax at each beach. Watch for numerous additional beaches along the way.
At the end of the cruise, enjoy a caipirinha cocktail.
You'll have some free time for to browse and shop in downtown Búzios before returning to the ship.
Notes:
The boat is rustic. Shade is limited; please dress accordingly. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Those wishing to visit the beach must swim from the schooner to reach the shore. A very limited number of snorkels and masks are available on the boat (fins are not available); if snorkeling is a priority for you, bring your own snorkel gear. The rainy season in the Amazon extends from December through March. Bring a light, waterproof outer layer on tour with you. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Limited tourism infrastructure is part of the charm here, and you are trading breadth of experience for authentic interaction. Please bring your spirit of adventure and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter.
