Discover the Búzios Peninsula by trolley on this tour that takes in 12 beaches and two lookout points. The trolley is completely open, providing you with an unobstructed view. The salty scent of the sea, fresh air and a cooling breeze accompany you as you tour.
Along the way, you'll stop for photos at several beaches -- well populated João Fernandes Beach, wild and scenic Brava Beach, and Forno Beach with its pink sand. You'll also pass Criminal Point and Point Lagoinha. The latter is referred to as the Brazilian Himalayas because of its unusual rocky formations and natural pools.
There is plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy a swim at the beach. At the end of the tour, you can stay in the downtown area and visit the local stores.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Limited tourism infrastructure is part of the charm here, and you are trading breadth of experience for authentic interaction. Please bring your spirit of adventure and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter.
