Explore Anchorage on a tour that traces the city's rise from a railroad tent city through the incredible 1964 earthquake to the city of today.
Your driver-guide will start with a one-hour panoramic city drive to view Anchorage's highlights.
Next, visit the Alaska Wildberry Products store for chocolates and Alaska-made souvenirs and gifts.
Step inside the Anchorage Museum, the state's largest museum of art, history and science. The Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center features 600 rare Alaska Native artifacts, and the Imaginarium Discovery Center offers a hands-on experience with earthquakes, sea life touch tanks and a planetarium. You will have time to purchase lunch (at your own expense) at the museum.
Catch a glimpse of Alaska's rich history and admire the work of its renowned artists before returning to the ship.
Notes:
