View Cannery Row and the boat harbor as you drive into the city.
You will visit the Kodiak History Museum to examine its eclectic mixture of Native, Russian and American exhibits. This is a slice of Kodiak's then and now.
Next stop will be the Kodiak Fisheries Research Center Aquarium and Touch Tank where you will see local sea life up close and personal.
A short drive north brings you to Fort Abercrombie State Park -- a World War II historic site. Feel free to explore the old gun emplacements and the exterior of the bunker-style headquarters, and don't miss the beautiful views over land and sea.
