Manuel Antonio National Park is the jewel among Costa Rica's large number of National Parks. Its fragile rainforest ecosystem protects almost 1,500 acres of tropical rainforest, more than a thousand different species of flora, and abundant wildlife including monkeys and a great variety of tropical birds.
A 90-minute guided walk follows narrow trails, and your naturalist tour guide will acquaint you with the dense rainforest.
This walk is one of the most popular in Costa Rica — a great opportunity to experience this flourishing forest that kisses the beach. Make the most of some free time for swimming.
Another hour of leisurely walking, with a high likelihood of spotting wildlife, brings you back to the park exit.
Time permitting, guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour does not operate on Mondays. Tour is non-refundable four days prior to the call at Quepos. Terrain includes
