Experience three iconic Alaskan adventures — flightseeing, glacier trekking, and packrafting.
Hop aboard a six-passenger floatplane for a scenic flight to the mouth of Taku Inlet — gateway to the largest flowing glaciers of the Juneau Icefield.
You'll land on the glacially carved lake with views of two separate glaciers and hike the shoreline to Packraft Cove. Following some instruction, hop into a packraft and paddle on the lake past icebergs towards the terminus of the glacier. A packraft is a light, inflatable one- or two-person boat designed to be relatively portable.
Your guide will pull you and your packraft right onto the Norris Glacier itself. Then, trade out your paddles for microspike crampons and a trekking pole and explore the moonscape-like surface of the glacier on foot.
After glacier trekking, slide back into your packraft and paddle back to Packraft Cove. Your floatplane is waiting to showcase more incredible views from aloft on the flight back to Juneau .

Participants must be fit enough to paddle for one hour and hike for up to two miles. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, ice, inclines, crevices, gravel, grass, and many steps up and down. You must follow your guide and obey instructions. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf.
