Spend an informative morning getting to know the city of Adelaide -- a charming city with a great sense of history.
Travel along North Terrace -- the cultural boulevard of the city -- to see its universities, Government House, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Botanic Gardens and the Adelaide Festival Theatre. Pass St Peter's Cathedral and enjoy a photo stop at Montefiore Hill, where a statue of Colonel Light watches over the city.
Visit the acclaimed Cleland Wildlife Park, in the Adelaide Hills, to meet Australia's endemic animals -- many of which roam free in their natural habitat. Photograph kangaroos, wallabies, emus, dingoes and cockatoos and see iconic koalas up close.
A light lunch is included at a restaurant perched on the summit of Mt Lofty, offering a spectacular panorama of Adelaide. Enjoy free time in the heart of Adelaide at Rundle Mall to browse in the shops or visit the famous Haigh's Chocolate Factory (at your own expense) for some locally-made treats.
Notes:
Order of the itinerary may vary on the day. Koala-holding is not available on this tour. Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water.
