Kids are welcome throughout most of the ship, with a handful of age-based limits for select pools, wellness areas, fitness spaces, and certain show seating.
A family day on board can be wonderfully simple: enjoy breakfast together, catch a show, take a pool break, and then gather for dinner after a full day of fun. A few spaces have specific guidelines regarding age requirements, and knowing them upfront helps the whole trip feel lighter:
Pools, hot tubs, steam rooms, and fitness
SeaView Pool: guests must be 18+.
Hot tubs and steam rooms: guests must be 16+.
Main pool and whirlpool areas: children who are not toilet trained, including those wearing any type of diaper or swim diaper, are not permitted.
Fitness center
Ages 12–17 may use the fitness center only with adult supervision.
Children under 12 are not permitted in the fitness center.
World Stage shows
Children are welcome at World Stage performances when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Guests must be 18+ to sit in the first two rows.
Chaperone requirements for guests under 21
Guests under 21 must travel with an adult chaperone, whether that’s a parent, relative, legal guardian, or another eligible adult.
Chaperones must be 21+, or 25+ for organized student or youth groups, with one chaperone per five guests under 21.
For voyages departing from and returning to Australia and or New Zealand, the policy applies to guests 18+.
