With your 24-hour ticket, you can hop on and off the double-decker excursion bus and the harbor cruise boat at your leisure to explore Stockholm from the water and on land. Enjoy excellent views from the bus' upper deck or ease of access on the lower deck. Extensive multi-lingual audio commentary is available through individual headphones.
The land and sea circuit, including up to 17 stops at important landmarks, museums and public spaces, allows you to see whatever interests you. Sights accessible from the stops include the Old Town, City Hall, the Royal Palace, Fjällgatan, Skansen and ABBA The Museum. The canal cruise shows you the city from a waterside perspective, including a stop at the Vasa Museum, and significantly enhances your appreciation of Stockholm.
Notes:
Board the bus at the cruise terminal exit. Wear comfortable walking shoes. This is a hop-on, hop-off service and is not exclusive to Holland America Line guests; the tour is open to the general public. The tour is unguided; you are merely purchasing a ticket for the bus service. You must exchange your voucher for a hop-on, hop-off ticket with the bus driver upon boarding the first bus. A clean headset is issued to you at the beginning of your tour, and you will keep it for the duration. Expect traffic delays and possible wait times at the stops associated with the service. It is your responsibility to return to the ship before all-aboard time. Entrance fees to attractions along the route are not included. Due to the nature of this tour, there will be no refunds. Where applicable, participants must climb steps to reach the bus' upper level. Tour duration varies based on your choice of stops and time spent at each. The entire bus loop without hopping off is approximately 1.5 hours. Tour sequence may vary. Bring local currency or credit cards, as most vendors do not accept US dollars. Tour operates rain or shine, but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Multi-port packages and discounts for students and seniors are not available on board the ship. Entrance fees to attractions along the route are not included. Walking is at your discretion. Buses depart every 20 minutes until 5pm. The buses have wheelchair-accessible ramps, with a wheelchair bay on the lower level.
