A scenic 1½ -hour panoramic drive by coach takes you off the beaten track to the small town of Borgarfjörður Eystri — often referred to as the Puffin Capital of Iceland.
Step aboard a state-of-the-art RIB (rigid inflatable) boat — the perfect platform from which to experience spectacular scenery and fabulous wildlife encounters.
Among the tour's highlights is the chance to see Atlantic puffins in their natural habitat, diving and darting through the water. Other seabirds, curious local birds, seals, dolphins, and even whales are often spotted, too.
Stop at a local restaurant for a light lunch before reboarding the coach for the journey back to the ship.

Travel time to Borgarfjörður Eystri by coach is approximately 1½ hours each way. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf.
