The anticipation of spotting the lights of aurora borealis is all part of the fun, and your eyes will be glued to the sky as you wait for them to show up.
If nature is on your side, the vivid colors will thrill and amaze you. In this part of the world, the lights are most often green and are an absolutely breathtaking sight. Words cannot do them justice — come see them for yourself!
Notes:
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon; the chances of spotting them are high, but sightings cannot be guaranteed. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Bring a flashlight to guide yourself along the terrain. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, gravel, and grass. Transfers are non-guided and take around 15 minutes each way. Children under the age of 3 must be secured in a child's car seat on the transportation. These are not available through the tour operator; you must bring your own from home.
