Hailed as the most French city outside of France, Québec is a spectacle of charm and character. On this panoramic drive, view the Old Town's historic landmarks and journey along the St-Lawrence River to view the spectacular Montmorency Falls.
Place-Royale is a beautifully-restored market square with typical 17th- and 18th-century stone architecture. Nearby, you'll see the oldest standing catholic church in North America — Notre-Dame-des-Victoires.
National Battlefields Park, also known as the Plains of Abraham, is where the French surrendered to the British in 1759. Take photos from Parc Jeanne d'Arc.
Your route will take you along the Grande-Allée — Québec's shopping street lined with quaint shops, sidewalk cafés, and boutiques — to the Hôtel du Parlement. This imposing Second Empire-style building overlooks the city.
Pass through some beautiful pastoral landscapes in Quebec's countryside to the bottom of Montmorency Falls. See the powerful forces of nature at work as the water of the Montmorency River roars down the cliff to eventually meet with the St-Lawrence River.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise begins in Quebec. The pick-up point for all guests will be the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. If you are not staying at the Chateau Frontenac, you must make arrangements to get to the Chateau Frontenac with all of your luggage (at your own expense) in sufficient time prior to planned departure. Important note: Guests not staying at the Chateau Frontenac must not bring their luggage inside the Chateau. The drop-off point for luggage is on the curbside outside the hotel. Look for the Holland America Line representative and your tour guide outside the Chateau and hand your luggage over to them. You must meet the coach and driver with your bags 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time.
