Welcome to Yeosu, brimming with South Korean coastal charm, culture, natural beauty, and maritime allure.
Visit Jinnamgwan Hall, a National Treasure that is one of the largest wood structures in the country. With its architectural elegance and significance, it's a glimpse into the Joseon Dynasty. . At the entrance there is a small museum and the famous Yeosu Stone Statue.
Next, stop by the Yeosu Fish Market for a guided tour. The market is lined with small shops and restaurants serving dishes using fresh seafood swimming in filtered and sterilized seawater.
Then drive via Dolsandaegyo Bridge to Dolsan Island. Historically, Dolsan served as a naval fortress protecting Korea from maritime threats. Enjoy the view while crossing the bridge before heading to the cable car ride.
Then, you'll take a ride on the Yeosu Cable Car. It is the first of its kind in Korea, connecting Dolsan Island and the mainland over the ocean. Observe the ocean below your feet and experience the thrill of the transparent flooring.
Finally, you'll end your tour at scenic Jasan Park — the gateway to Odongdo Island. From its forested plateau, take in sweeping views of Yeosu, Namhae Sea, and Odongdo's lush greenery. Admire Korea's tallest statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and explore some historic landmarks — Jasangak Pavilion, Chunghontap Tower, and Ilchuljeong Pavilion.
