This tour showcases the art world of Takamatsu.
Your first destination is George Nakashima Memorial Gallery, dedicated to the life, philosophy and craftsmanship of Japanese-American furniture designer, George Nakashima. Nakashima was considered unparalleled in his technique, which uses the warmth of wood and the wonder of nature. More than 60 of his pieces are on display here.
Next, you will head to Kinashi Bonsai area. Bon-sai is a Japanese term which literally translates to 'planted in a container'. The town of Kinashi developed and prospered around the art of bonsai, and there are now around 20 nurseries here within a 20-minute walk.
Admire the variety and abundance of these miniature beauties before returning to your coach and the ship.
