Half Moon Cay’s Lobster Shack, That’s Where It’s At
White, powdery sand, crystal clear water…just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, your favorite private island has one more thing to love, the delectable Lobster Shack! The restaurant commemorated Half Moon Cay’s 20th anniversary and made its big debut last November during Koningsdam’s inaugural sailing, but for those of you who haven’t been able to visit yet we thought we’d give you a little taste!
Located near the “I Wish I Could Stay Here Forever” bar, the Lobster Shack, for a nominal fee, serves succulent fresh grilled lobster with Caribbean coconut beans n’ rice and a rum-jerk butter glaze! To top it off, the dish is served with pineapple and Caribbean Sofrito salsas to bring out the fresh local flavors — and yes, it’s as good as it sounds!

After a day of kayaking, paddle boarding or just swimming in the pristine water you’re guaranteed to work up an appetite. What could be more satisfying than digging into a mouthwatering plate of lobster, paired with a refreshing piña colada or rum punch as you enjoy the gorgeous ocean view? Not much!

Having been to the island before, we are looking forward to our trip again in the next few days. I can hardly wait to walk on the icing sugar sand. That’s how soft the sand is. I could spend an entire vacation on this island. See you soon HA.
