Perched on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and an idyllic setting for a gastronomic walking adventure. Join an expert guide for a 2½-hour food and history tour and an exclusive glimpse into its delicious culinary treasures.
Take a short, scenic shuttle ride into the heart of downtown Victoria to encounter the city's vibrant food scene, which you'll explore on foot.
In historic Chinatown, the oldest in Canada, enjoy a bold and flavorful twist on a Canadian classic: butter chicken poutine at a popular Indian-fusion restaurant. This delicious mash-up combines crispy fries, cheese curds, and rich butter chicken sauce for a uniquely Canadian comfort dish.
A local craft brewery, tucked inside picturesque Market Square's hidden courtyard, is surrounded by beautifully preserved brick heritage buildings. Relax with a tasting of craft beer, local cider, or a non-alcoholic alternative while learning about Victoria's thriving craft beverage scene.
Wander through the atmospheric streets of the Old Town. Narrow alleys and historic storefronts date back to the Gold Rush era, and you'll encounter iconic landmarks such as Waddington Alley and haunted Bastion Square.
In charming Trounce Alley, one of Victoria's most photographed hidden streets, enter the beloved The Tapa Bar to sample traditional Spanish-style tapas in a warm and lively setting.
Indulge in handcrafted chocolates from Rogers' Chocolates — Canada's oldest chocolatier and a Victoria institution since 1885 — and end on an even sweeter note at the charming Better Acres Ice Cream store. Sample locally made Vancouver Island ice cream in fun flavors such as salted maple — the perfect finale to your evening out.
Return to the ship by shuttle.
