DAY 3: (B, L, D)
Begin your morning with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Once you have gathered your belongings, proceed with check-out formalities and meet your guide in the hotel lobby by 8:30am. Your guide will accompany you on your transfer to OR Tambo Airport.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will check in for your international flight to Victoria Falls Airport. After boarding, relax and enjoy your flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls.
When you land at Victoria Falls Airport, you will clear Immigration, collect your luggage, and proceed through Customs. As you exit the arrivals hall, your local representative will be waiting to welcome you.
From the airport, it is a scenic 30-minute drive to the Palm River Hotel. On arrival, you will be given a brief tour of the property before completing check-in formalities. A delicious lunch will be served at the hotel, including two local drinks per person. After lunch, you are free to explore the hotel grounds and settle into what will be your home for the next two days.
The Palm River Hotel enjoys an exceptional location along the banks of the Zambezi River, surrounded by towering indigenous trees and just four kilometres from the world-famous Victoria Falls. On clear, quiet days, you may even hear the distant roar and see the mist rising from the falls right from your room.
Later in the afternoon, you will make your way down to the jetty for your sundowner cruise. This unforgettable two-hour experience takes you along the Zambezi River at sunset. Drinks and snacks will be served as you cruise upstream, offering opportunities to spot birdlife and perhaps even hippos, crocodiles, or elephants along the riverbanks.
After your cruise, return to the hotel for a memorable Riverside Dining Experience. This open-air dinner features authentic African-style barbeque dishes served beside the Zambezi River. The menu includes traditional Zimbabwean specialties, fresh salads, and flavorful side dishes, all accompanied by local entertainment that enhances the atmosphere of this remarkable setting.

DAY 4: (B, L, D)
Begin your morning with a delicious, leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, meet your representative in the hotel reception area at 9am to begin today’s activities. You will board your transportation and take a short drive to the magnificent Victoria Falls.
Victoria Falls, located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, is recognized as the world’s largest curtain of falling water, stretching a full mile across and plunging 360 feet into a dramatic basalt gorge. The roar of the falls is so powerful that it can be heard from up to 25 miles away. Watching the Zambezi River thunder over the edge is an unforgettable experience, and it’s easy to understand why locals call it Mosi Oa Tunya, meaning “the smoke that thunders.” When Scottish explorer Dr. David Livingstone first saw the falls in November 1885, he named them in honor of Queen Victoria.
A scenic path winds along the edge of the rainforest, offering a series of breathtaking viewpoints. The spray from the falls is immense, so expect to get wet as you walk through this lush, mist filled environment.
Please note that the cobblestone walkways can become slippery when wet, and some areas include gentle gradients. Proper walking shoes with good grip are essential, and guests should wear clothing suitable for getting wet. This experience is not recommended for guests with mobility challenges or those using wheelchairs or scooters. Walking distance ranges 1.24 to 2.48 miles.
After your visit, you will re board your transportation for a short drive to The Lookout Café, your lunch venue for the day. Perched 120 meters above the turbulent Zambezi River, this semi open air café offers what is widely considered the most spectacular view of Victoria Falls. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied by refreshing drinks while taking in the dramatic scenery.
Following lunch, you will return to the Palm River Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may choose to relax by the pool, unwind in the gardens, or simply reflect on the day’s adventures.
In the evening, gather in the dining hall for a scrumptious dinner before retiring to your room for a restful night.

DAY 5: (B, L, D)
Begin your morning with a leisurely breakfast at the Palm River Hotel. Once you have gathered your belongings and completed check-out by 8:30am, take a moment to say goodbye to the wonderful staff before boarding your transportation to Chobe Chilwero in Botswana.
Your journey takes you to Chobe National Park, located in the far north of Botswana and famously known as the “Land of Giants” for its remarkable population of Kalahari elephants—the largest elephants in Africa. The park’s landscape is beautifully diverse, with sweeping savannah, dense woodland, lush riverbanks, and expansive floodplains, all supporting an extraordinary range of wildlife. The name “Chilwero” means “high view,” and the lodge lives up to its name with its elevated position overlooking the Chobe River, offering mesmerizing vistas of the surrounding wilderness.
Once you have settled into your suite, you will prepare for your afternoon activity. During your stay, you may choose from a variety of included experiences such as morning and afternoon game drives, sundowner cruises, and photographic safari boat excursions. Guests may select two activities per full day, allowing you to tailor your safari experience to your interests.
At the end of the day, return to the lodge for pre-dinner drinks and enjoy a delicious safari-style dinner surrounded by the sounds and beauty of the African wilderness.

Your day begins with an early morning wake up call at 5:30am, where hot and cold beverages will be waiting for you. Once refreshed, you will set off on your morning game drive, led by expert rangers who know this extraordinary ecosystem intimately. Chobe National Park is famous not only for its immense herds of Kalahari elephants, but also for its rich variety of wildlife, including buffalo, antelope, giraffe, hippo, vibrant birdlife, lions, cheetah, and hyena. Each drive offers a new opportunity to witness the drama and beauty of the African bush.
After your early morning safari, you will return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast. The late morning is yours to enjoy at your own pace—perhaps relaxing by the swimming pool or simply soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. Around midday, make your way to the main lodge for lunch.
In the late afternoon, you will head out again for another activity. A popular choice is the sundowner cruise, where you can enjoy a chilled drink as you glide along the river. Keep an eye out for elephants wading in the shallows and buffalo grazing along the banks while the sky transforms with the colors of the African sunset.
As evening settles in, return to the lodge for dinner beneath the vast African sky. The atmosphere is enhanced by the sounds of nature—birds settling in for the night and the gentle grunts of hippos nearby—creating a perfect ending to another unforgettable day in the wilderness.
