Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the vast Florida Everglades wilderness, known as the River of Grass, is a living mosaic of slow-moving water, sweeping sawgrass plains, and rare wildlife found nowhere else on Earth.
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup at the B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach, followed by a scenic drive into the heart of the Everglades.
Step aboard a sleek, flat-bottomed airboat designed to glide where ordinary vessels cannot. One moment, you'll be skimming over open marsh; the next, threading through narrow channels in search of wildlife, from the pink flash of a roseate spoonbill to the stealthy ripple of an alligator slipping beneath the surface, and crossing shimmering waters at speeds nearing 40 mph.
On land, your connection to this remarkable ecosystem deepens with an engaging wildlife presentation. A professional handler introduces you to some of the Everglades' animal residents, sharing stories of their adaptation to their habitat and the delicate balance that sustains them.
Your journey concludes with a relaxing motorcoach transfer to the cruise ship.
