Can I receive an upgrade on my cruise?
Answer: Yes, upgrades can happen, but they are at Holland America Line’s discretion and not guaranteed.
Now and then, we may choose to upgrade a guest to a higher-category stateroom at no additional cost. While you can always monitor the stateroom category you’ve reserved, upgrades cannot be requested or confirmed in advance, and they may occur for a variety of operational reasons. If an upgrade is offered, you’ll still enjoy the same thoughtful onboard experience, just with a little more room to settle in.
