A scenic drive takes you along the shoreline of Hornindalsvatnet Lake to the village of Loen.
Board the Loen Skylift cable car for a ride up Mount Hoven to 3,316 feet above sea level — well above the treeline in this part of Norway. Beneath you, spectacular views of the fjord and villages sprawl toward the mountainous horizon and the edge of Jostedal Glacier National Park.
Leaving the magnificent view behind, return to sea level and the ship.
Notes:
In the event of strong winds, the cable car can close at short notice. Tour operates rain or shine, but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extreme weather or unsuitable conditions. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Children under the age of 3 must be secured in a child's car seat on the transportation. These are not available through the tour operator; you must bring your own from home.
