Continue to Mariacka Street, known for its amber shops and atmospheric steps and terraces, before reaching the magnificent St Mary's Church.
Shift gears and experience modern Gdansk through its booming craft beer scene. You'll visit two outstanding breweries, each offering a special atmosphere and individual approach to brewing and mini-snacks to complement the brews.
Browarnia Gdansk is situated within the historic Brovarnia Hotel — a beautifully restored 18th-century granary located on the waterfront. Its warm, rustic setting blends tradition with taste. Watch the brewing process through glass walls, where beers are crafted using natural ingredients and traditional recipes enhanced with modern techniques. Sample four classic house beers here.
Next, head to PG4 Brewery, housed in the beautifully renovated Main Railway Station building. PG4 is a modern craft brewery with industrial-chic design and impressive brewing facilities. Known for their award-winning beers, including traditional
German and Czech styles, they also offer creative craft brews developed by passionate local brewers. Sample various kinds, including a small taste of the Jopenbier — a special heritage-style brew —and raise a glass to the past and present.
