Here's an authentic journey into the heart of Aruba's creative spirit — it's a celebration of all things made in Aruba.
Begin with a visit to the historic Aruba Aloe Factory & Museum, opened in 1890 and still operated by the founding family. Watch a demonstration of the aloe extraction process, followed by a walk-through of the museum. View the production area from above and gain insight into how Aruba's aloe vera became world-renowned.
Next, visit the beautifully restored 1900s house of Pepe Margo Distillery in downtown Oranjestad. Aruba's first craft distillery features a copper still room and a pretty courtyard. Your visit ends with a tasting of several rums and a liqueur.
A tasty lunch awaits, featuring the popular Aruban dish Keshi Yena, born from culinary ingenuity during colonial times. The refreshing lemonade known to the locals as Awa Lamunchi is also served.
