Walk to the jetty and board a catamaran from which to discover Hobart's coastal beauty. A 2½-hour coastal cruise explores calm waterways, pristine beaches, rugged cliffs and caves. Cruise to the Iron Pot — Australia's oldest lighthouse — and then into Storm Bay. You'll circumnavigate uninhabited Betsey Island, which is home to a variety of seabirds, including gulls, cormorants and the majestic white-bellied sea eagle.
Notes:
Not advisable for guests with limited mobility. Tour requires a 900-yard walk to board the vessel. Terrain includes a marine ramp from the pier to the boat, which can be very steep at low tide.
