This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to Taormina. You will be dropped off in the underground parking area. From there, you will take the elevator and steps to street level at the Square of Porta Catania.
You will have approximately two hours of free time. Your escort will advise you of the pick-up time for the return journey.
Notes:
Guide service, taxi transfers, entrance fees, and lunch are not included in the transfer price. It will be your responsibility to be at the drop-off point at the given return time. The terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, inclines, many steps, and an elevator to climb from the parking area to the town. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations; if there is an extended wait for the elevator, participants will be required to reach the parking area by stairs (approximately 140 steps) to meet back up with the transportation at the appointed time.
