Maximize your time in Sitka with this Sea It All wildlife and whale watching land and sea combination — a private adventure for you and five of your closest friends and family (six people per departure).
Thankfully, there's no need to choose from among Sitka's incredible sightseeing opportunities — just step off the ship and let your guide handle everything for a fun, hassle-free day.
First up, enjoy a two-hour private wildlife and whale-watching tour aboard a heated boat through Sitka Sound's pristine waters, immersing you in nature as you encounter whales, otters, sea lions, brown bears, and other wildlife in the Sitka Archipelago.
Take a break to enjoy delicious local snacks and explore downtown Sitka on your own.
Finally, 1½ hours of land-based exploring by van has you out on the road system for some scenic photo stops. Take to the trails of the Tongass National Forest — your guide is uniquely authorized to lead you on foot through this area by special USFS permit.
End your amazing day out with a privately guided small-group tour of the Fortress of the Bear. Here, absorb the majesty of Alaska's gorgeous bears up close, with your entrance timed to avoid the busiest hours, ensuring a more relaxed and individual experience.
Take some time to browse in the shops in downtown Sitka, returning to the ship at your leisure via the complimentary shuttle.
