This accessible shore excursion introduces you to three of Sicily's most spectacular, historic sites, including the medieval quarter of Palermo, the picturesque Conca d'Oro Valley, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Monreale Cathedral.
Meet your tour guide and accessible van on the pier and head out on a short panoramic drive into the heart of Palermo. You will explore the charming medieval quarter, seeing the stunning Palermo Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, and some of Europe's best-preserved examples of Byzantine architecture and artwork.
A drive along the slopes of Conca d'Oro Valley showcases picturesque landscapes dominated by orange, olive and almond trees. Pause in the village of Monreale, situated on the slopes of Monte Caputo. Stroll through town to visit the striking Norman-Byzantine Monreale Cathedral — a UNESCO World Heritage Site built between AD 1170 and 1189. It is widely considered to be one of the most magnificent churches in the world.

This tour is designed to be accessible for all guests, including those using a wheelchair (the tour operator suggests you bring a companion to assist, as guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs).
